Guidelines on the management of atopic dermatitis in South Africa

Validation These guidelines were developed through general consensus by a panel of four dermatologists and five paediatricians from South Africa, from evidence based on extensive literature review. Draft documents were made available for comment to the dermatology and paediatric communities via the internet. It was also presented and discussed at the annual congresses of the respective societies. All input from these sources, where appropriate, was then incorporated into these guidelines.
